On Line Encyclopedia. http://www.go.grolier.com/
Includes access to three encyclopedias:
- The New Book of Knowledge (NBK) is an enhanced version of the
print encyclopedia. Enhancements include 5 weekly news articles with lesson
plans and over 3,000 links from the encyclopedia articles to related educational
web sites.
- Multimedia Encyclopdedia is based on Grolier's Academic American
Encyclopedia and provides more depth than NBK. Provides extensive web
links and monthly updates.
- Encyclopedia Americana covers topics in even greater detail than
either the NBK or the Multimedia Encyclopdeia and has links to over 125,000
WWW sites (updated quarterly).
