Somers Research Initiative

Seven years ago, recognizing that research is a common thread throughout all of the New York Learning Standards, instructional leaders from throughout the district began to focus on defining and implementing a developmental process for teaching research skills, K-12. Today, four Research Protocols and related Research Skills Continuums serve to implement the District's Research initiative.
